SMU-TESOL국제 영어교사 전문가 과정 (4.5개월)
SMU-TESOL was created more than 15 years ago, in collaboration with renowned TESOL scholars at The University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Since then, more than 20,000 Korean English teachers have future-proofed their teaching skills with us, and we continue to offer state-of-the-art, ever-evolving TESOL certification thanks to our commitment to maintaining premiere, up-to-date scholarship and research.
SMU-TESOL is still the Korean TESOL program that confers the most widely and internationally recognized TESOL certificate, and the credits earned through our programs are transferable to more than 30 MA programs in cooperating universities in the United States, the U.K and Australia, as well as SMU.
From the beginning, SMU-TESOL was committed to developing Korean teachers of English as English- speaking interactive classroom teachers. Currently, the trend in TESOL is English teaching BEYOND the classroom: distance learning, online teaching and learning, synchronous, asynchronous, and blended learning. Again, SMU-TESOL finds itself at the forefront of this movement as our synchronous option has been labeled ‘the next big thing’. Only here at SMU-TESOL do Korean teachers of English have the opportunity to learn live online and in class, and in so doing acquire the tools themselves to teach English online.
