    Services for Students

    01Issue of Certificates

    • - You can print out copy of the TESOL certificate and transcript from website
    • - You can visit and get them from office of Student Affairs in Sookmyung Women’s University.
    • 1) Location : Student Service Center 1st floor of Student Union Bldg.
      (Number 8 is the Student Union Building in the below map.)
    • 2) Office Hour : 9am - 9pm Monday - Friday
    • 3) Issuing Fee : 1,000 won via the vending machine
    • 4) Issuing Procedure : Enter your personal information using the touch screen. Select the certification you need. Certificates will not be sent by post. If you cannot visit the center yourself, you may ask someone to visit the center for you.

    02Parking

    The Injaegwan parking area is not available for students. All students have to use the parking lots on the main campus.
    Note that the following parking policy is only for Sookmyung TESOL students. If you have any questions, contact the Parking Control Office(T.710-9981). The Sookmyung TESOL Office does not sell or purchase parkingcoupons. The parking lot at Injaegwan is only available for faculty and staff at Sookmyung TESOL.

    Please visit the parking office and pay your parking free.

    Parking without Student Coupon

    For the first 30 minutes, the parking costs KW 1,500 and every additional 10 minute costs KW 500 or KW 3,000 for every hour. There is a one-day maximum charge of KW 20,000. For those who wish to use the parking lot throughout the semester, we advise Sookmyung TESOL students to purchase a student parking coupon at the beginning of the semester. The parking coupons are only available at the Parking Control Office.

    You have to download from website on your phone.

    04EOZ (English Only Policy)

    • - The "English Only" policy helps everyone at Sookmyung TESOL improve their English.
    • - While you are at school and at school activities or events, you will speak ONLY in English.
    • - Writing, reading, speaking or listening in another language is not permitted in school or at school activities and events.

    ※ Please speak only in English at every place in the Sookmyung TESOL building (SMPC) excluding the TESOL office, the Resource Center, and the student lounge (B104).

    Injaegwan

    The SookMyung Professional Center (Injaegwan) is a state of the art facility which was constructed to fulfill our goal of becoming a Mecca for TESOL scholars and teachers across the globe. All the facilities are designed to provide a resourceful and comfortable environment for learning and teaching. The center will function as a focal point for idea exchanges, curriculum development, and networking hub for TESOLers everywhere.

    Resources Center (TESOL Library)

    Sookmyung TESOL has the largest resource center in the country for students majoring in TESOL. It is complete with teacher resources, textbooks, academic journals, special lecture videos, newspapers, and magazines related to the field of language teaching.
