Injaegwan

The SookMyung Professional Center (Injaegwan) is a state of the art facility which was constructed to fulfill our goal of becoming a Mecca for TESOL scholars and teachers across the globe. All the facilities are designed to provide a resourceful and comfortable environment for learning and teaching. The center will function as a focal point for idea exchanges, curriculum development, and networking hub for TESOLers everywhere.

인재관은 전 세계의 테솔 과정 학생들과 교수들이 모이는 장소가 되자는 목표를 가지고 설립되었습니다. 모든 시설은 배우고 가르치는 데 편안하게 디자인 되었습니다. 인재관은 전 세계의 테솔러들의 아이디어 교환, 커리큘럼 개발, 그리고 네트워킹 허브의 기능을 수행할 것입니다.

Resources Center (TESOL Library)

Sookmyung TESOL has the largest resource center in the country for students majoring in TESOL. It is complete with teacher resources, textbooks, academic journals, special lecture videos, newspapers, and magazines related to the field of language teaching. Also, it is contained with books related to English exams, job hunting which university students and general public may interested with.
숙명테솔은 국내 최대 규모의 테솔 관련 도서(교과서, 교사 자료집, 학술 자료, 특강 비디오, 신문, 잡지 등)와 대학생을 위한 영어도서(시험관련, 취업관련 등)를 보유하고 있습니다.

01Overview

Welcome to the Speech Center at TESOL-SMART!

Type 1(include trained consultant)
The speech center located at the 1st floor of TESOL library assists all Sookmyung students and general public individuals in practicing English speaking test and getting feedback from a trained consultant at all levels of the speaking process. We have a 30 minute session. You can schedule a session by contacting us. Aside speaking, we also provide up to date textbooks to support and help you practice for the official English tests and interviews. Our consultants are experienced professors from TESOL-SMART.
Please check making an appointment (아래 ② Making an Appointment 링크) and office hours (아래 ③ Office hours) to schedule your 30 minute session.

02Making an Appointment (예약 방법)

Walk-ins are welcome, however, we strongly encourage you to make an appointment to guarantee the time and attention that you need. Check appointment availability by contacting us to make an appointment. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
To schedule your 30-minute session, please contact the SMART office at 02)2077-7899, 7897, smart-office@sm.ac.kr or drop by the SMART office located at the Sookmyung Professional Center (Injaegwan), 1st floor.

Canceling an Appointment
To cancel an appointment, please contact the SMART office at 02)2077-7899, 7897 or send an email to smart-office@sm.ac.kr at least 2 hours in advance.

Late or no show up after Appointment
For late show up, notify us in advance to secure your 30 minute full session or your appointments will be check as a no-show. If you are regularly a no-show, we may not allow you to make future appointments.

※ 예약하고 늦거나 오지 않는 분들은 향후 스피치 센터 이용에 제약이 있을 수 있으니, 불가피한 사항으로 참석하지 못하는 경우 2시간 전 연락 주시기 바랍니다.

    The lounge consists of a total of 30 computers with access to the Internet and different types of MS programs. It is reserved exclusively for the use of SMU TESOL(SMART) students.
    인터넷 라운지에는 TESOL(SMART)학생들만이 이용 가능한 인터넷과 MS프로그램이 설치되어 있는 30여개의 컴퓨터가 마련되어 있습니다.
