Opening Hours

  • During Semester : Mon. ~ Fri. 8:30 - 19:00 / Sat. 9:00 - 17:00
  • Vacation Time: Mon. ~ Fri. 9:00 ~ 17:00 (Lunch Break: 12:00 ~ 13:00 Closed)
  • Closed on Sundays, Public Holidays, and School Anniversary Day

General Guidelines

Returning

The items belonging to the TESOL Resource Center must not be returned to the Main Library. It's impossible to return any books on off-duty days like Sundays and Public Holidays.

Renewals

If you would like to have a book renewed, have it renewed at the circulation desk. Each book can be renewed only one time before the due date.

Accompanying Materials

Materials with accompany books have the same barcode number as the book. These items can be borrowed through the circulation desk. The borrowing period is the same as books.

Reserve Materials

Requested course reserves may not be checked out without special permission.

PCs, VTRs, CD players

  • 2 Desktop Computers: only for book searching
  • 2 Videos / TV Sets
  • 3 CD players & Tape Recorders

Book Searching

Access http://lib.sookmyung.ac.kr -> Click ‘Catalogs’ -> Input key words -> Check the book list and location (can check out materials from TESOL Resource Center only if the location shows TESOL)

Overdue Fines

1 day An item per day 50 won No circulation services until all borrowed books are returned.
More than 30 days An item per day x 50 won x 2 →Double penalty

Circulating Items

 
All items must be returned one week prior to graduation. If items are not returned and fines paid, your graduation certificate will be withheld.

Lost and Damaged Items

Lost or severely damaged items must be replaced. Otherwise, the price of the lost item must be paid by the students.

Student Conduct

  • 1. Students must turn off cell phones in the Resource Center.
  • 2. Students must leave all book bags and backpacks in the designated shelves outside of the Resource
        Center.
  • 3. Students must clean up their desks and chairs when they leave the Resource Center.
  • 4. Students may not bring food or drink into the Resource Center.
  • 5. Students must respect others who are studying; please talk quietly.
  • 6. Students may not remove items from the Resource Center unless they are checked out.
  • 7. Students must return all items on time.
